Whitby Brass Band 2009-Festival of Brass

We are a volunteer community band based in the Town of Whitby, Ontario, Canada. 2013 will mark our 150th Anniversary! Our current membership is about 36 players. We feature a traditional British Brass format, using instruments unique to that style of band.

A Brass Band presents a dynamic, bright sound, unique in the music world. If you have never heard us play, you can use the schedule posted on the Performance page to find our next playing date and location.

The Whitby Brass Band performs at a variety of parades, events and other functions throughout the year. If you would like to book the band for a job, please email us, call the band room at 905-666-2049 or write to us at the address on our Contact Us page. We will be happy to discuss any fees once we have details of your request.

We always have our doors open to new and visiting players. Please drop in, or call if you are interested in playing with us.
